Standard Chartered Bank, Knod Foundation and the Kenya NGO’s Co-ordination Board presented the event "How to Create More Sustainable Funding For Your Organization Now and into the Future", aimed to help Kenya NGOs to find new ways to grow their funding resources now and into the future.
Speakers for the session were:
Richard Swart (UC BERKELEY - Director, Program for Innovation in Entrepreneurial & Social Finance). Richard leads the research team studying how crowdfunding, and other innovations in entrepreneurial finance models, are helping startups get funded. He is an active director/advisor to several startups and works internationally with policy makers and governments on crowdfunding and entrepreneurial issues.
Bentley Wilson (Knod Foundation - Managing Director of Global Impact Investor Engagement). Bentley is an investment professional with more than 25 years in investments, new venture incubation, impact investing, structured finance, private/venture equity transactions and consulting.
The facilitator of the workshop was Nixon Sekoh, Corporate Affairs Manager of the Kenya NGOs Co-ordination Board.
