Nick Donofrio, Chairman of the Board of Regents for the State of Connecticut
Nick Donofrio is a 44 year veteran of IBM where he was EVP of Technology and Innovation. He is currently the Chairman of the Board of Regents for the State of Connecticut.
He serves on several boards of directors and provides us networks in industry, government, and education.
Michael serves as the executive director of Christensen Institute education program. In 2008, Michael co-authored the award-winning "Disrupting Class: How Disruptive Innovation Will Change the Way the World Learns", with Harvard Business School Professor Clayton M. Christensen and Curtis W. Johnson.
Michael serves on a variety of boards, and he is also an executive editor of Education Next, member of the Education Innovation Advisory Board at Arizona State University, and the advisory committee for The Hechinger Institute on Education and the Media at Teachers College, Columbia University.
Henry Eyring is the VP of Innovation at Brigham Young University —Idaho, and co-author with Clayton Christensen of book The Innovative University. He also has a meaningful experience as a globlal management consultant, and he has served as a director of SkyWest Airlines.
He provides us with insights into innovations in higher education and the future of education.
Bill Hansen is the CEO of USA Fund, the largest student loan guarantor fund in the US. Former Deputy Secretary of Education. He has more than 30 years of experience in K-12 and higher education including 12 years in public service and 20 years in the corporate and non profit sectors, in organizations like Scantron Corp. and Global Scholar, Chartwell Education Group, Affiliated Computer Services and the Education Finance Council.
Eric is on the board of directors of several organizations. As a consultant, his career was developed at E&Y, PWC. In the academic world, Eric was the Deloitte-Touche Faculty Fellow, Associate Professor of information systems at BYU’s Marriott School of Management, and Co-Chair of the Utah Education Network board of directors.
He has also been a successful CIO at different organizations like Times Mirror Corporation, BYU, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and the University of Utah. Eric was Chief Operating Officer of The RBL Group and SVP, Global Operations and Process Design at Ascent Media.
Scott McKinley is the CEO of SAE Institute in the USA. Prior to SAE, Scott worked for Study Group and Laureate Education. Scott has vast networks around the world in higher education and has been very valuable so far and will continue to be in regards to introductions to key leaders in education and industry in primarily in Asia.
Jim serves also on various boards and foundations: Farmer Mac, Soltis Advisors, Epic Ventures and More Good Foundation, where he was the co-founder. He has had a distinguished career at Goldman Sachs and Lehman Brothers prior to his work in academia.
Jim has spent the last 10 years as a member of the finance faculty of the Marriott School of Brigham Young University and Assistant Dean. Part of Jim's responsibilities were developing corporate relations for the Marriott School.
Luisa is an expert in management of education and higher education companies, in 4 continents and all phases of education (infant schools, K-12, undergraduate and postgraduate), acquired at Laureate International Universities and SEK Internactional Schools. She was also part of Knod's founding team.
Before joining the education sector, she had more than 10 years of multi-sectorial experience, in marketing, sales and business development, with companies like Procter & Gamble, Johnson & Johnson, and Autogrill.
