The Knod Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology is a technical program that prepares learners with the knowledge and skills they need to get a job in the field of Information, Communications, and Technology (ICT).
Applied ICT is part of exciting innovations like the human genome project, electronic security, earth simulation and bioinformatics. Independent job market surveys show that demand for graduates is escalating, along with salaries. More specifically, in Asia Pacific software skills dominate the job listing for technical professionals, as Ron Shchneiderman explains at IEE JobSite
“Employment numbers are already high within the tech industry, but this is expected to be one of the fastest-growing fields between 2012 and 2022 When you consider this industry's high job prospects and well-paying occupations, it's easy to see why our No. 1 job overall hails from this part of the workforce.”

Going through the Knod educational experience requires that you build skills and knowledge across multiple dimensions. Below are three dimensions that you will develop as a Knod learner.
All of the courses in the program are project-based. In other words, you work in teams to solve the IT problems of Knod’s Global Network of Employers. In doing so, you’ll build a network of colleagues and contacts among real world professionals.
Our Program overview shows Years 1, 2 and 3. Each year, you take four 10-week semesters (Quarters). Each 10-week semester you take 3 academic courses. You will also take supplemental courses to develop your soft skills, such as Franklin-Covey’s 7 Habits of Highly Effective College Students.
Knod’s IT degree program requires learners to collaborate in teams to produce project deliverables that one person could never achieve alone. Below are a few examples of the types of projects you work on and what you will learn.
