Knod Summit: Connecting Lives

Knod’s first summit was celebrated on December 5, 2013, at Zermatt Resort, Midway, Utah (USA).  

A forum where a group of trusted colleagues gathered and shared their insights and expertise, to help shape and inform the future direction of Knod initiative in our quest to Connect Lives of XXIst Century learners around the world with livelihoods.

Knod had a warm and enthusiastic response to this invitation from key representatives of employers, alumni learners from PBL programs, thought leaders on XXIst Century learning trends and innovations, academic institutions, capital providers, student loan experts, US Department of Education former senior leadership, and experts from the UK, Europe, Asia, and Australia

Key note speakers where:

  • Gareth Mills, expert in Curriculum Design
  • Rob Lytle, Partner and CoHead of Education at The Parthenon Group
  • Jim Spohrer, Innovation Champion and Director of Global University Programs at IBM 
  • Diego Sanson, Executive VicePresident Emmerging Markets at TMP Worldwide

Graham Doxey, Knod Founder and CEO, and Kevin Nethercott, Knod MD Employers Engagement, explained how Knod want to bridge the GAP between employment and education: creating an ecosystem of learners, employers and educators, connected through a Project Based Learning method and making it accessible for emerging middle classes worldwide

Knod will celebrate summits in different continents to connect all the constituents that are needed to build a solution to the E2E GAP.
