Knod has reached a partnership agreement with HELP University, which becomes Knod’s first academic partner. HELP International Corporation BHD, will also be one of the funders for Knod’s series A capital.
HELP University was founded in 1986 to provide affordable educational opportunities for Malaysians. HELP has developed into the leading institution of higher learning in Malaysia, with an international reputation among universities, research organizations and business leaders.
HELP International Corporation BHD was incorporated on June 2005 as an investment holding company for HELP’s various businesses: HELP University, HELP Academy, HELP College of Arts and Technology, College of Automotive Technology (a joint venture with NAZA Group) and HELP International School.
Through this partnership, HELP follows their mission to help people succeed in life, and to live a life if significance trough education. Partnering with Knod will provide higher education opportunities to emerging middle class youth in the region, and will help make Malaysia the hub for education that the government is targeting.
According to Dr. Paul Chan (President / Vice Chancellor and Founder of HELP University), “Knod’s solution to the Education to Employment GAP is a path-breaking model, and it matches HELP’s objective to innovate expansion, differentiation and internationalization”.
